Welcome to our brand new blog and information page!
The coast and sand dunes are a truly beautiful place, with a vast range of rare species and habitats. We have walking trails, viewpoints and information boards to ensure you have an enjoyable and educational visit. Please read the pages on this site to learn more about the reserve, what can be seen and how to get involved.
We welcome well behaved dogs to Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe NNR but as the reserve is open access land dogs must be on a short lead (maximum 2 metres) between 1st March - 31st July. This it to protect the rare habitats and wildlife found at our reserve.
At certain times of the year we may have livestock grazing the dunes. We will put signs on the gates where livestock are present, dogs must be on a short lead (maximum 2 metres) at all times around livestock. Please read the blog post 'Why do we graze the dunes?' to find out more.
